1 오, 만군의 주여, 당신의 장막들은 얼마나 사랑스러운지요!
1 How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!
2 제 혼이 주의 뜰들을 열렬히 바라나니, 진정 그것으로 기진하기까지 하나이다. 저의 마음과 저의 육체가 살아 계신 하나님을 구하며 부르짖나이다.
2 My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.
3 오, 만군의 주, 나의 왕, 나의 하나님이여, 진정 참새가 집을 발견하였고, 제비가 그녀를 위하여 그녀의 새끼를 둘 둥지, 곧 당신의 제단들을 발견하였나이다.
3 Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.
4 당신의 집 안에 거하는 자들은 복되나이다. 그들은 당신을 계속 찬양하고 있으리이다. 셀라.
4 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.
5 자신의 힘이 당신 안에 있는 사람은 복되나이다. 그의 마음속에 그들의 길들이 있나이다.
5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.
6 그들은 바카 골짜기를 통과하면서 그곳을 우물로 만드나이다. 비도 그 연못들을 가득 채우나이다.
6 Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.
7 그들은 힘에서 힘으로 나가나니, 시온에 있는 그들 모두가 저마다 하나님 앞에 나타나나이다.
7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.
8 오, 만군의 주 하나님이여, 저의 기도를 들으소서. 오, 야곱의 하나님이여, 귀담아들으소서. 셀라.
8 O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.
9 보소서, 오, 우리의 방패이신 하나님이여, 그리고 당신의 기름 부음 받은 자의 얼굴을 내려다보소서.
9 Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.
10 이는 당신의 뜰들에서의 하루가 일천 일보다 낫기 때문이니이다. 사악함의 천막들 안에서 거하기보다 저는 차라리 나의 하나님의 집 안에서 문 지키는 자가 되겠나이다.
10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
11 이는 주 하나님께서 해와 방패이시기 때문이니이다. 주께서 은혜와 영광을 주실 것이니이다. 그분께서는 올바르게 살아가는 자들에게서 좋은 것을 삼가지 아니하시리이다.
11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
12 오, 만군의 주여, 당신을 신뢰하는 사람은 복되나이다.
12 O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
