시편 73편

<아삽의 시편>

<A Psalm of Asaph.>

1 참으로 하나님께서 이스라엘에게 선하시니, 바로 정결한 마음을 지닌 자들에게 선하시도다.

1 Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.

2 그러나 나로 말하자면, 나의 두 발이 거의 어긋날 뻔하였고, 나의 걸음들이 미끄러질 뻔하였도다.

2 But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.

3 이는 내가 사악한 자들의 번영을 보았을 때, 내가 어리석은 자들을 시기하였기 때문이라.

3 For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

4 이는 그들의 죽음 가운데 결박들이 없기 때문이라. 오히려 그들의 힘은 굳건하도다.

4 For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm.

5 그들은 다른 사람들같이 곤경에 처해 있지 아니하도다. 또한 그들은 다른 사람들처럼 재앙을 당하지도 아니하는도다.

5 They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.

6 그러므로 교만이 사슬같이 그들 주위를 둘러싸고 있도다. 폭력이 의복같이 그들을 덮고 있도다.

6 Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment.

7 그들의 눈은 기름기와 더불어 튀어나와 있도다. 그들은 마음이 소원할 수 있는 것보다 더 가지고 있도다.

7 Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.

8 그들은 부패하여 압제에 관해 사악하게 말하는도다. 그들은 자고하며 말하는도다.

8 They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.

9 그들은 하늘들을 대적하여 자신들의 입을 놀리고 그들의 혀는 땅을 두루 활보하는도다.

9 They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth.

10 그러므로 그분의 백성이 여기로 되돌아오는도다. 그리하여 잔에 가득한 물들이 그들에게로 짜내지는도다.

10 Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.

11 그러면서 그들이 말하기를, “하나님께서 어떻게 아시느냐? 또 지극히 높으신 분 안에 지식이 있느냐?” 하는도다.

11 And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?

12 보소서, 이들은 세상에서 번영하는 불경건한 자들이니, 그들이 재물들을 늘리나이다.

12 Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.

13 진실로 제가 저의 마음을 헛되이 정결하게 하였으며, 저의 두 손을 무고함으로 헛되이 씻었나이다.

13 Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency.

14 이는 온종일 제가 재앙을 당하였고 매일 아침에 징계를 받았기 때문이니이다.

14 For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.

15 만일 제가 말하기를, “내가 이와 같이 말하겠노라.” 한다면, 보소서, 제가 당신의 자녀들의 세대를 거슬러 범죄하였으리이다.

15 If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children.

16 제가 이것을 알려고 생각하였을 때 그것이 저에게 너무 고통스러웠나이다.

16 When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;

17 제가 하나님의 성소 안으로 들어갔을 때에야 비로소 제가 그들의 결말을 이해하였나이다.

17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.

18 확실히 당신께서 미끄러운 곳들 안에 그들을 두셨나이다. 당신께서 그들을 멸망 속으로 던져 버리셨나이다.

18 Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.

19 어떻게 한순간에 그들이 황량함에 처하였나이까! 그들이 공포들로 모조리 진멸되었나이다.

19 How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.

20 누군가 깨어났을 때의 꿈같이, 오, 주여, 이처럼 당신께서 깨어나셨을 때도 당신께서 그들의 형상을 멸시하시리이다.

20 As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.

21 이와 같이 저의 마음이 비통하였으며, 저는 저의 속마음에 찔림을 받았나이다.

21 Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.

22 제가 이처럼 어리석었고 무지하였나이다. 제가 당신 앞에서 짐승 같았나이다.

22 So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.

23 그럼에도 불구하고 저는 당신 곁에 지속적으로 있나이다. 당신께서 저의 오른손으로 저를 붙드셨나이다.

23 Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.

24 당신께서 저를 당신의 조언으로 안내하시고 장래에는 저를 영광으로 받아주실 것이니이다.

24 Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

25 하늘에서 당신 외에 누가 제게 있나이까? 또 땅 위에서 제가 사모할 자가 당신밖에 없나이다.

25 Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.

26 제 육체와 제 마음이 쇠하나이다. 그러나 하나님께서 내 마음의 힘이시요, 영원토록 내 몫이시니이다.

26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

27 이는 보소서, 당신께로부터 멀리 떨어져 있는 자들은 망할 것이기 때문이니이다. 당신께서 당신을 떠나 행음하러 가는 모든 자들을 멸하셨나이다.

27 For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.

28 그러나 하나님께 가까이 다가가는 것이 저에게 좋나이다. 제가 저의 신뢰를 주 하나님께 두었으니, 이는 제가 당신의 모든 역사들을 선언하려 함이니이다.

28 But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.
